Mommy Makeovers
Mother’s day is a time when the world turns to express appreciation toward mothers and mother figures. But not all moms come from ideal parenting circumstances.
So, for Mother’s Day this year, we wanted to do something a little special for all the foster moms, moms who have lost their children, moms with kids with disabilities, and others moms who haven’t had anything done for them in a long time. Our “Mommy Makeover” day at Kiss My Kurves Beauty Bar in Gardena, California gave us the chance to give back to these moms.
At the beauty bar, these moms had the chance to come and get pampered by getting their nails, toes, and makeup done. It had been YEARS since most of these women had received this kind of care.
We’re grateful for moms of all backgrounds out there. You’re the reason we’re here, and we love you.
Our mommy makeover day was part of our “Give Away Park” initiative—a series of service activities at which we give to those in need, sometimes in a real park and sometimes not. Please contact us if you have a goods or service you’d like to donate to our next service event!
