Supporting Education and Innovation.

The Heart of Job Foundation is a non-profit foundation dedicated to enriching the lives of youth through music production education.

Our mission is to provide programs that reinforce STEAM principles while expanding opportunities for students in the music industry. Through our sound engineering workshops, participants learn the inner workings of music production, while gaining skills to take their future to the next level.

To date Heart of Job has provided over 200 participants in over 10 school districts with access to free and low cost music production workshops.

WHAT WE OFFER.

INFORMATION MEMORIZATION

Helping students memorize information – By encouraging participants to get physically and mentally involved in the learning process, activity-based learning helps participants learn and retain information. This process of gathering knowledge through personal experience (i.e. experimentation) is shown to help participants memorize and understand learning material.

RELEVANCE OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL

Emphasizing the relevance of educational material – Participants don’t always understand the relevance of learning material when simply putting pen to paper. Activity- based learning, on the other hand, helps participants understand the ‘real-lifeʼrelevance of learning material by encouraging them to explore and solve realistic problems and scenarios.

ENCOURAGEMENT EXPRESSION

Encouraging kids to express themselves in different ways – Activity-based learning encourages participants to be creative in the way they express their knowledge. This learning method provides participants with the opportunity to express what they have learnt through the act of doing as well as through the act of verbal presentation

“There is music in every child. The teacher’s job is to find it and nurture it
